Press Release - Distribution Through Amazon.com

Halftime Magazine Available on Amazon.com
and Other Online Retailers

Halftime MagazineTM is proud to announce several new online distribution partnerships. The magazine will be available online through Amazon.com, MagazineExpress.com, Magazines.com and TheCrownStore.com.

Founder and publisher Christine Katzman believes that expanding the magazine into the online retail market will help increase readership and make the magazine more easily available to consumers. “We are excited to expand our retail distribution,” Katzman says. “These mainstream Internet outlets will help us reach a wider general audience.”

The three web retailers will sell one-year subscriptions to the magazine for $19.95. A portion of the orders through TheCrownStore.com will benefit Carolina Crown Drum & Bugle Corps.

Halftime Magazine highlights the sights, sounds and spirit of the marching arts from the perspective of high school and college “musician-athletes.” Launched in July 2007, the bimonthly print magazine and interactive website enhances marching participants’ love of music and performance by providing education, entertainment and inspiration.

Content includes profiles, first-person accounts and thought-provoking feature stories about shared experiences such as competitions, school spirit and band traditions. In addition, the publication will provide tips to enhance students’ musical and marching skills as well as connect the band community through news, events calendars and product reviews.
