GrooveTech DK Multi Drum Tool

Musicians have a lot of equipment to manage. GrooveTech made percussionists’ lives a little easier with its February 2021 release of the new DK Multi.

The drum multi-tool combines a drum key socket with three hex wrenches sized 2, 2.5 and 3 millimeters to help with other adjustment needs. Percussionists can use the tool to adjust hex fasteners on drum hardware and accessories along with the typical square nuts. “The DK Multi combines four tools into one, which not only increases convenience but also the chances of having the right tool when circumstances dictate an immediate need,” says Dan Parks, GrooveTech president.

With more than 10 years of experience designing musical multi-tools, GrooveTech felt inspired to upgrade the basic drum key aesthetically and functionally, Parks says. “Its unique construction involves a tool skeleton made to precision tolerances using pro-grade tool alloys, covered by a colorful polypropylene jacket that feels good in the hand,” Parks says.

The DK Multi is available worldwide through music dealers and distributors. Get more information at groovetechtools.com.
