Music for All Wins Awards

This fall, Music for All has been busy handing out awards to high school bands across the country at its many regional events. In September, the organizations received numerous awards of its own—a record-setting 15 honors from the International Festival and Events Association Pinnacle Awards.

These include six gold awards for a variety of event communications and programming efforts, including best educational program, best new fundraising program, best miscellaneous multimedia and best new event. This total adds to Music for All’s more than 50 Pinnacle Awards received in recent years.

Music for All’s Board Chairman Gayl Doster was also recognized as IFEA’s International Volunteer of the Year for his tireless efforts on behalf of Music for All. The Lawrence Central High School’s Spirit of Central Marching Band, of which Mr. Doster’s adult daughter was a member, performed at the event. Music for All shared one award, for best sponsor solicitation video, with Drum Corps International.
