This February, the Sullivan North High School marching band, of Kingsport Tennessee was featured on local CW fitness show Fit 4 Life.
Fit 4 Life is a Tennessee based nonprofit organization who’s goal is to motivate individuals of all ages to maintain healthier lifestyles.
The Fit 4 Life TV Show tracks the progress of several teams with weight loss and other fitness goals.
One such participant on the show, Gary Bortz, also happens to be the band booster president of the Sullivan North High School marching band.
As a motivational surprise to him on his fitness and weight loss journey, the Sullivan North band played a surprise field show for him in their featured time on the show.
The band’s appearance was so well received by viewers that they will be making a return to the show for the season finale on April 2nd at the Freedom Hall Civic Center in Johnson City Tennessee. The finale viewing will be open to the public.
